About Me- The Artist
Who am I?
That is a great question. One that we are often asked, and one that we rarely seem to have an answer for. We tend to know who we want to be, or what our roles in life are. We tend to know who we think others what us to be. Thankfully, after years of soul searching and self-discovery work (including therapy), I can confidently say who I am. I am the one and only me in the world. I don't have one definition, nor do I try to fit into any type of box.
I’m Bronwen. I’m kind, love wholeheartedly, find the beauty in most things, am supportive, and charismatic.
I am a Canadian who says 'eh and uses 'o' in words live colour and behaviour. I apologize way too much, probably too polite. I love travelling (especially road trips even though I tend to get motion sick and end up sleeping most of the way) , reading, doing puzzles, and just hanging out. My favourite places for solitude are bookstores and beaches.
I am constantly surprised by my own resilience and strength. I enjoy facing my fears and believe that nothing should hold anyone back from what they want to do, well with the expectation of ethics and safety. I suffer from too many physical and mental ailments to name, but I do not let them define me or control me. I will never use them as an excuse for my behaviour, but may use them as an explanation.
I am a mother, wife, friend, daughter…. I am a mental health advocate, writer, artist (mixed media, resin, paper crafting, drawing, sewing...), instructor, and lifelong learner.
I am an ever changing, ever growing, whimsically playful individual. I am very spiritual. I believe the world is so much bigger than just one person, I believe everything is connected.
I am 100% me. I am perfectly imperfect!
When it comes to my art and my designs, everything is create with passion. My imagination has no limits. I like to push boundaries: combine styles of art, recreate worlds, create things that make people ask questions... I want to help people to find joy, to connect with my art. I want them to feel like it was created just for them. I love steampunk and psychedelic styles. I love anything to do with fantasy, magic, and whimsy. I often see things as others might not. I search for the unusual angles and sightlines. I look for the hidden elements.
The world around is a beautiful place. My is magic. It transforms so many elements into something unique and beautiful. I feel the energy flow though my body and into my hands. I thread a piece of my love into everything I create.
How the Designs were Created
All of the base designs were designed by me. Finial computer generated images were also altered again before being finalized. I want them to be truly unique. I've divided the process into four categories to help you better understand my process and what makes my designs different than any others.
Digital Art features a selection of more complex ideas and concepts. The base design was drawn and then enhanced using various ai programs. Within the program, I write a detailed description of the base design, and then I pick a design category. I select my favourite images and once again alter then in design programs.

Digital Drawings are uniquely created design that have been drawn using a pen stylus and ipad screen rather than paper and pencil. Occasionally I do draw with pencil and paper and them scan and upload the file. These are mostly simple black and white line drawings. Occasionally, I will upload one of my final coloured photos. No alterations have been done to these.
- Perfect for digital stamps and colouring pages
Digital Watercolours are computer generated images made to look like watercolour paintings. Each image starts with my base drawing and is then enhanced with computer generated backgrounds and textures.
